Globo officially announces the date to reveal the cast of BBB 24

The Globo network has officially marked the day on which it will reveal the cast of participants in “BBB 24”. The official profile of “Big Brother Brasil” confirmed on social media that the “Big Day” will take place on Friday (12/5), as the rumors had already revealed.

The so-called “Big Day” will bring the revelation of those who are confined throughout the day of Globo programming. Last year the advertising began during the interval of the program “Encontro com Patrícia Poeta”.

This year Globo brought forward “BBB”, shortened the pre-reality prison period and will reveal the names of the participants three days before the program premiere.

This decision follows a bold strategy by the broadcaster to try to surprise the public and media, after the problems faced in the previous edition of the reality show – which debuted with the entire Cabin leaked.

It is worth mentioning that Boninho gave advice on participation, sharing some drawings such as an airplane, a woman with a microphone, a baker, a man with empty pockets and a farmer, among others.

What’s new and new in the 24th edition

The 24th edition of the BBB, hosted by Tadeu Schmidt, will bring several new features: the reality show, which maintains the division of participants between the Pipoca and Camarote groups, will introduce a third group, Puxadinho, the details of which have not yet been revealed by the broadcaster . Additionally, the program will feature changes to the voting system and dynamics format.

In the first phase of the program, the public will vote on who wants to stay at home, eliminating the least voted. In the second phase the traditional format returns, with votes to eliminate a participant. The program will also offer two voting options: fan voting and individual voting, the latter requiring CPF and limited to one vote per person. The result will be the average of the two formats.

Among the dynamics, the main novelty will be “Sincerão”, which will replace the traditional Discord Game on Mondays. Other than the name, the production has not revealed any details of the new painting. The “BBB 23” Discord game has been criticized for remaining in a repetitive and rigid format, with limited time for discussions.

Other new features focus on the leader. Now he will have an exclusive camera, 24 hours a day, which can be followed by Globoplay subscribers, and he will gain more responsibilities, with the power to influence a new secret dynamic, which will take place on Fridays, as well as the right to vote on the wall.

The prize for the winner of this edition could reach R$3 million, with director Boninho promising a “root BBB”, focused on participants who really need the money.
