In total, five bets shared the record prize of R$588 million. According to Caixa, one bet was made on the internet, while others were made in Salvador (BA), Bom Despacho (MG), Redenção (PA) and Ipira (SC), cities with less than 5 thousand inhabitants.
Furthermore, 1,996 bets were placed that corresponded to five numbers, ensuring a prize of R$70,083.58 for each. Another 164,379 bets matched four drawn numbers, receiving R$1,215.71 each.
