“Stranger Things 4” ran for nearly 900 million hours

“Stranger Things” remains Netflix’s most watched series in the third full week of airing its new episodes.

The attraction reached over 102.26 million viewing hours between June 13 and 19, bringing the total to 883 million viewing hours. Since Netflix only counts viewers for the first 28 days in its overall chart and “Stranger Things” has already been shown for 24 days, the show’s current season is expected to end its tally at around 900 million.

The estimated number represents half of the record for South Korea’s “Round 6,” which had 1.6 billion hours viewed in the first 28 days of its release.

Despite this, “Stranger Things 4” is the season of the most watched English series on the platform, far ahead of the 2nd place in the language – “Bridgerton 2”, with 656.3 million hours.

This week’s list of the most popular English-language series on Netflix also highlights “Peaky Blinders 6” (61.4 million) and the debut of “First Kill” (48.8 million) in the top spots.
