Plus belle la vie’s return to TF1 promises to be a start-of-the-year television event. More than a year after it ended, the series that originally aired on France 3 will be reborn from its ashes in a sequel that really isn’t.
“This is the first season of the 18-year-old series“, explained Clémentine Planchon, producer of Plus belle la vie, during a more beautiful press conference. If new characters appear in the series, TF1 also decided to bring back many former actors who marked the history of Plus belle la vie during its 18 years of existence during.
While the first episode of Plus belle la vie, even plus belle airs this Monday, January 8 from 1:40pm on TF1, here’s a quick look at how Laurent, Léa, Barbara and the others are doing during this run.
Thomas March
In Plus belle la vie, even in plus belle, Thomas (Laurent Kerussoret) remains the backbone of the Mars family. Still married to Gabriel Riva, she now co-owns the new Mistral bar, the old one being destroyed when the legendary venue was demolished. He now works with his half-brother Killian and Barbara in what will become the nerve center of the soap opera.
Barbara Evenott

Barbara (Léa Francois) is still in the kitchen in Plus belle la vie, even plus belle. The character literally became the new Mistral cook. Pregnant during the finale, she is now a single mother to Yael, her son.
Even if he has what it takes to be a chef in the most prestigious restaurants, he prefers to work quietly at Bar Le Mistral surrounded by loved ones than to be constantly under pressure in a gastronomic establishment.
Killian Corsell

After inheriting Mistral at the end of Plus belle la vie, Killian (Tim Russo) is now co-manager of the new establishment with his half-brother Thomas. A young man full of energy, he does not like theory and prefers to concentrate on the concrete.
Babette Nebutt

Married to Patrick and Leah’s mother, Babette (Marie Reash) is a liberal arts nurse and has opened a practice with her daughter and Gabrielle. He can’t stand injustice and always makes it known, even if it gets him into trouble. Together with his wife, they now share a flat with Leah and her partner Jean-Paul Boher.
Patrick Nebut

Like Boehre, Patrick (Jérôme Bertin) is the commander of a new police department. Married to Babette, he is Leah’s adoptive father. A righteous and honest person, he respects the respect of laws, even if he sometimes agrees to turn a blind eye to certain petty agreements, if his loved ones are interested.
Leah Nebu

Leah (Marie Heneres) is now a doctor at the local medical office where she works with her mother and Gabriel. He was always ready to help his neighbor, he was also elected deputy mayor. She is also still in a relationship with Boher and now lives with her parents in a large apartment.
Jean-Paul Boher

Jean-Paul (Stephane Hannon) is the chief of police at a new police station. Married to Léa Nebut, he raises their grandson Avore and Lucy, his eldest daughter born from his union with Samia (Fabien Carat).
He also shares a residence with his in-laws, Babette and Patrick Nebutt. Boehre also faces the arrival of a new commissioner determined to modernize the police department.
Ariane Hersant

The iconic figure of Plus belle la vie, Ariane (Lola Maroi) makes her comeback in this sequel. An excellent police officer with a volcanic temperament, he does not give up. She is particularly sensitive to gender-based violence and is not afraid to bend the rules if it saves a woman in danger. He will also have to deal with the arrival of a new commissioner, which should be difficult for him.
Blanche Mars

In the finale of Plus belle la vie, Blanche (Cecilia Hornus) decides to remarry François. Unfortunately, their relationship did not last and now they are divorced. She also quit her job as a high school teacher and forms an association with Luna and Eric that we don’t know about yet.
Eric Norman

The station’s ex-cop, Eric Norman (Regis Maynard), has quit his job. He returned to Marseilles to find his friend Ariane. He will form an association with Luna and Blanche, the purpose of which we do not know yet.
Gabriel Riva

After many years of working in a hospital, Gabriel (Joakim Latzko) opens a medical practice with Leah and Babette Nebut. Still married to Thomas, she sometimes has a knack for annoying those close to her. And to top it all off, Gabriel has a hard time admitting mistakes.
Luna Torres

This is the single we find Luna (Anna Decis) wearing in the first episode. As we remember, the character “married” Guillaume and Bastien in the finale. But their unconventional union seems to have not stood the test of time. He now seeks a quieter existence and forms an association with Blanche and Eric.
Mirta Torres

After managing the Hotel Place du Mistral for many years, Mirta (Sylvie Flap) is now the concierge at the new Masalia residence for students and young professionals. He works there with Yolande Sandre, his lifelong friend, whom he agreed to marry during the final bonus of Plus belle la vie, to help him pay off his debts.
They are still married. Deeply dedicated, he is always ready to help his neighbor, even if he maintains a tendency to always interfere in things that do not concern him.
Yolande Sandri

Yolande (Elisabeth Comelin), married for friendship to Mirta, is an eccentric and fantastic woman. Babette’s mother finds her friendship with Mirta a source of joy and regularly pushes her friend/wife to break the rules in order to come out of her shell. He works with him as a concierge at the Masalia residence.
Nisma Bailey

A brilliant political science student, Nisma (Ella Philip) is the tenant of Masalia’s residence. A natural extrovert, he is sincere and has a lot of personality. Good-natured, he does not hesitate to help people in need.
Jules Langlois

In 2021, Jules Langlois (Valentine Duclos) arrived at Plus belle la vie. A bright and sociable young man, he decided to go into journalism after starting to study mathematics. When listening to others, he knows how to show empathy.
