Tuesday, January 9, a more beautiful life, even more beautiful
Panic in the doctor’s office
Little Lucy has grown up and like all young people her age, she wants to have her own mobile phone. Unfortunately, Jean-Paul does not share this opinion. Leah thinks that Jean-Paul should probably give up, especially since it’s Lucy’s birthday soon. Finally, he agrees on the condition that he can geolocate his daughter if she does not return his calls.
There is a massacre in the doctor’s office. A crowd of residents complain of stomach ache. Rumors of poisoning caused by a meal served at Mistral spread quickly. Leah is on edge as she is all alone in monitoring the patients.
When she gets home from work, Leah tells Jean-Paul and Lucia that she has changed her mind and considers the smartphone a malicious object. And for good reason, it’s honed after spending all day running around answering non-stop patient calls.
Mirta is tired
Disagreements arise in the student residence run by Mirta and Yolande. In fact, Yolande does not want to work. So he creates a crisis in order to transfer his family affairs to the students. Mirta, who, on the other hand, is a real hard worker, really does not like this behavior.
But Mirta is not very young and she will feel tired. While talking to Nisma, she turns her back and tries to pick up a household product that is at her feet. Yolande arrives and finds her colleague sitting on a chair. Mirta explains to her that she is injured and Yolande decides to help her.
Mistral separated
Francesco is in a coma. Estelle, who is at his bedside, asks Gabrielle if she knows more about her companion’s health. The head of the department at the Marcel-Est hospital replies that he thinks Francesco was a victim of food poisoning.
Everyone in town is talking only about this tragedy. While Thomas and Barbara are talking outside, Sylvia makes a decisive move. He accuses Barbara of having poisoned his brother in his food the day before, and then starts shouting: “Mistral poisons its users”.
A few hours later, Barbara checks all the food to make sure she is not responsible for Francesco’s poisoning. Unsurprisingly, everything seems fine and the chef begins to think the poisoning is due to a food allergy. In turn, Thomas tells his colleagues that customers are starting to desert Mistral.
Aya, a young worker who has just arrived in the neighborhood, is on the phone with a mysterious interlocutor. Thomas surprises her and she immediately hangs up. Killian questions him while talking to reporters, but Thomas disagrees. He becomes more and more suspicious of her.
At the hospital, Gabriel tells Lea and Silvia the results of the tests: Francesco may have taken a very high dose of atropine, a substance found in medicines that acts as a very strong poison.
