• 875,276 thousand legal entities have redeemed R$ 1,472,252,748.50 billion
Step by step to redeem your money
1. Find out if you have money to receive
To carry out the first consultation, the Central Bank makes the page available https://valoresareceber.bcb.gov.br/publico. The public consultation for both CPF and CNPJ is available at this link. It is necessary to indicate the date of birth in the case of CPF and the date of opening of the company in the case of CNPJ.
2. Connect to the system of receivable values (SVR)
If you have money to receive, you will be directed to the Receivable Values System (SVR), a Central Bank service that allows you to recover lost money. To access the system, you must use your gov.br account login, which must be at the Silver or Gold level.
- If you don’t have a gov.br account, creating it is free and can be done via the website https://sso.accesso.gov.br or via the gov.br application, available for systems iOS AND Android.
In the SVR you can view the amounts available to receive, as well as check if there are any amounts held by a deceased person that have also been forgotten.
3. Access ‘My Credits’
In this field it is possible to check which values are available for redemption and which institutions they refer to.
4. Demand value
Next to the information regarding the amount available for redemption, there is a “Request here” button. By clicking on it, a page will open where the manager can enter the Pìx key, email and telephone number.
After filling in all fields, click “Register”. Next, check if the details are correct and send the request to redeem the amount.
- Didn’t you show up? The “request here” button appears only if the financial institution has signed an agreement with the Central Bank, referring to the Receivable Values System (SVR). If the button does not appear, you must contact the institution directly to arrange a return method. In these cases there is no obligation to return the money within 12 working days.
5. Track the request
After confirming the ransom demand, the system will direct the person to a screen with the request protocol – which must be noted. According to the Central Bank, the reimbursement of the amount is the responsibility of the institution and must be made within 12 working days.
At this stage the Receivable Values System (SVR) also leaves some messages:
- Remember that the value communicated may be different from the one actually received due to any monetary updates or discounts required by law, National Financial System regulations or contracts.
- If you have provided contact details, the institution may contact you to confirm your identity and clarify any doubts.
- Do not provide passwords or make payments to receive the amount.
