Born in 1972, Alison Eastwood began appearing in front of the camera as a child in some of her father Clint’s films. We can see him as a child in Bronco Billy and It’s Going to Hit when he was eight, and then in Rope as a teenager. Then she disappeared from the screens at the age of 25, in one of the roles, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997).

After seventeen years of acting outside of her father’s films, she decided to end her acting career to pursue other pursuits… until one evening, she received a mysterious phone call that she said: people In 2018:

I was with my husband, we were going to dinner, it was Friday, and Sam Moore calls me and says, “I want your father in this movie,” and I almost stood up. He asked me if anything was wrong, if anyone had died, and I said, “No, I just don’t feel well.”

Then Alison Eastwood reminds our colleagues that she retired in 2014, at the age of 42, after shooting a film with the symbolic title: Finding Harmony, a family and musical drama with Anna Margaret and Billy Zane. On the evening of Sam Moore’s phone call, he asked himself: “Why me ?”

The role was for the thriller The Mule, directed by 88-year-old Clint Eastwood, about an old man who unsuspectingly becomes a drug smuggler between the United States and Mexico.

“And the more I thought about it, the more I told myself that maybe it wasn’t just her daughter playing for me.”Allison recalls, “But to spend time with him. And my husband said to me, ‘If you don’t do this, you’ll regret it for the rest of your life.’

After The Mule in 2018, 1.8 million admissions in France and $174.8 million worldwide, Alison Eastwood has, as expected, returned from a six-year retirement. He has recently regained his interest in acting, having recently directed the comedy The Trouble with Billy with the late Tom Sizemore and a western diptych called Hot Bath.

After retirement, Alison Eastwood is involved in the Eastwood Ranch Foundation, which, as a non-profit organization, collects and cares for abandoned animals.
