Tomorrow Belongs to Us: What’s in store for Thursday 11 January 2024 Episode 1598 [SPOILERS]

Who killed Langlois?

At the police station, Manon and Nordin show Frank what Timotee noticed the day before on the port’s video surveillance images: Curtis’ boat leaving the port overnight with a man at the helm. But Langlois cannot be clearly identified. However, Manon confirms that there is no other possibility because her uncle was in the hospital with Dorian. Martin is also surprised that the yacht was able to leave the port under police surveillance.

While Benedict announces his imminent departure to Marianna, Sarah goes to the hospital to call the police. As for Etienne, Nordin goes to take him on his boat.

In turn, Martin interrogates the policeman who was responsible for surveillance of Curtis’s boat. The latter admits that he fell asleep around 3 am. Karim returns with the policeman’s tests: traces of sleeping pills were found in his blood. Martin and Karim suspect that Langlois drugged their colleague so that he fell asleep while he was leaving port on a sailboat.

After which Martin questions Etienne and shows him the CCTV footage. Etienne then claims that he killed Langlois. He says he returned to his boat while Dorian was being operated on for appendicitis. There Langlois was waiting for him with a gun. Etienne killed her while his wife slept, stunned by her pills.

Behind the one-way window, Manon is surprised by her uncle’s words. In fact, he checked her alibi and all the hospital staff made sure she didn’t leave Dorian’s bed. Karim thinks Etienne is covering for his wife.

Indeed, Martin in turn interrogates Bénédicte, telling him that Etienne has accused himself of murdering Langlois, despite evidence to the contrary. Then Benedict confesses: her husband and son went to the hospital while she slept on the ship. Langlois entered the cabin and threatened him with a gun. He plugged it in, then started the boat on autopilot. Benedict took advantage of the moment of inattention and hit him on the head with whatever he could get his hands on. He fell to the ground. Then Benedict threw it into the sea. As for Etienne, he just cleaned up the blood stain.

Victoria comes face to face with Samuel

Before leaving for the hospital with Victoire, Adeline reminds him that she has a promise the day before after their fundraiser. Adeline wears her colleague’s pigtails all day, which does not make Marian and Soizic laugh.

In order to take revenge, Victoire arranges a fight with Soizic. Both make Adeline think that Mariana was feeling sick in her office. The young woman lost her mind and embarrassed herself in front of her boss.

In the evening, Victoire, Adeline and Soraya go to Montpellier for dinner. Then they are going to go to a bar. On the way, Victoire notices a man who seems to be a double of her ex, Samuel. To taunt him, the girls push him to invite him to drink with them. Victoire opens herself up and approaches the man in question. When he turns around, Victoire is shocked: it’s really Samuel…

Mona will fix it

In the spoon, Audrey questions Melody about the evolution of her relationship with Georges. The young woman admits that she decided to leave this novel, in particular, because of Mona. As Melody leaves, Mona tries to figure out what she told Audrey. The latter reveals that there is nothing new considering that he did not give the couple a single chance to be intimate.

Later, Mona asks Bart to be honest with her: she wants to know if he is interfering too much in his son’s life. Bart tells him yes. Mona is angry that Georges is losing a beautiful love story because of her. Bart points out that he can still try to make things right.

Meanwhile, Georges goes to see Victoire at the hospital. He talks about his attempt to kiss Melody which failed because of her mother. Melody hasn’t really responded to her messages since then. Georges understands that he needs to break up with his mother, but he feels guilty for hurting her.

In turn, Mona asks Nathan to help her find Melody’s profile on a private coaching app. Once done, Mona will book a gym session with him.
