Honor teams up with Porsche to launch an even more expensive version of the foldable Magic V2, which now offers 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage
A Honor has just announced a special edition of its latest foldable smartphone in collaboration with Porsche. The new Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design debuts with the same technical specifications as the already known model, but making small changes to the design and more memory, and now costing almost double the original version.

The biggest difference is Porsche’s signature Flyline design in the details on the tailgate, with the mobile offered exclusively in Porsche Agate Grey.
According to the manufacturer, the body of the smartphone is made of “sports car fiberglass”. The brand offers no further details on its apparent construction.

Originally announced as the thinnest foldable in the world As of June 2023, Honor V2 RSR maintains the ultra-thin body of 9.9mm thickness when closed and just 4.7mm when open.
The device has a butterfly shape with a 6.43-inch external screen technology OLED and 120Hz refresh rate and 7.92-inch flexible internal panel with variable frequency up to 120Hz and stylus pen support.
Equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor Qualcomm with a frequency of up to 3.36 GHz, the smartphone also features a large 5,000 mAh battery with 66 Watt wired charging and support for wireless charging.

Honor’s foldable also offers two 16MP front cameras, one for the internal screen and one for the external one, as well as three rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP sensor for the ultrawide lens and 20MP for the telephoto lens.
The device arrives with Android 13 under the MagicOS 7.2 interface and offers support for Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC.

Price and availability
The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design is available in China in a 16GB version RAM and 1TB of internal storage for 15,999 yuan, or about R$10,900 in direct conversion.
For comparison purposes, the Honor to Magic V2 in its basic 16 GB and 256 GB edition is sold in China for 8,999 yuan, approximately R$6,100 conversion. There are no plans to launch outside of China.
