A 27The Tiradentes Film Show, which takes place between January 19th and 27th, opens the Brazilian audiovisual calendar. The event has free entry and will occupy several spaces in the historic city of Minas Gerais.
In total, 145 films will be shown — 43 feature films, 3 medium films and 99 short films — in 61 cinema sessions, coming from 20 states in the country: AL (4), BA (3), CE (7), DF ( 4), ES (2), GO (5), MA (1), MG (45), MT (1), PA (3), PB (1), PE (10), PR (4), RJ ( 22), RN (3), RR (1), RS (3), SC (2), SE (1) and SP (32).
In 2024, the filmmaker André Novais Oliveira and the actress Barbara Colen will be honored at the event. The program also includes training activities, conversation circles, workshops, laboratory, masterclasses, book launches, presentations and exhibitions.
