The 2024 version of the Vasco made its debut during the pre-season in Punta Del Este, Uruguay. The main team defeated the locals from nearby Maldonado 4-0, with a brace from the gem Rayan. In addition to the 17-year-old striker, Payet and Rojas also scored.
The Paraguayan, officially presented a few hours earlier, scored the first, with a header. Later, Rayan found the net following a pass from the French star.
