Pope Francis stated this Sunday (14th) that God does not seek “superficial followers”.
The leader of the Catholic Church, who celebrated the traditional Angelus, underlined the importance of the faithful “questioning themselves and allowing themselves to be challenged by the Word of the Lord”.
“Faith is not a theory, but an encounter, it is seeing where the Lord lives and dwells with Him. Let us remember our first encounter with the Lord” said the religious.
“Let’s ask ourselves: are we still passionate disciples in search of the Lord or have we established a faith made of habits?”, he asked.
In addition to stating that war is a “crime against humanity”, the pontiff prayed for the victims of a landslide in Colombia. .
