Killing It: Craig Robinson’s new comedy revamped

The “Killing It” series, launched in April this year on the American platform Peacock, has been renewed for its second season.

Played by Craig Robinson (from “The Office” and “Ghosted”), “Killing It” features the comedian as a security guard looking for a loan to buy land and start his own business. After being denied credit by the bank, he starts looking for creative ways to get the money.

During a trip on Uber, he learns that the state of Florida is facing a problem with an overpopulation of pythons and that the government is offering a $ 20,000 prize to whoever kills the most snakes. That’s when he comes up with the idea of becoming a snake exterminator.

The creation is by Luke Del Tredici and Dan Goor, respectively showrunner and creator of the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” series. Robinson also came to work on this comedy, making a cameo in nine episodes.

“We are immensely grateful to everyone at Universal Television and Peacock,” the duo said in a statement. “Snake-based economic satire isn’t exactly a familiar and beloved genre of television comedy, but they’ve supported the project from the start. We can’t wait to do more.”

The first season of the series had 10 episodes released on April 14 and received 86% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, an indication that it was approved by critics.

The series is still unreleased in Brazil. Watch the trailer below.
