A great first event already as iconic as its programming
Represented by more than 700 theaters throughout France, CGR cinemas are launching the ICE festival for the first time. An event that is still unique, but which may become impossible in the coming years!
Principled? Patrice Martin, Director of Programming at CGR Cinémas, explains it very simply: “The ambition of the ICE festival is first and foremost to offer our audience the opportunity to see (or re-watch) the films that marked the year 2023, with full immersion and in the comfort of our premium theaters.“
The ability to find 2023 hits in theaters like Super Mario Bros, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 or even a barbie… but not only that! Other must-see films from recent years such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Top Gun: Maverick and Avatar: The Way of Water are also returning to theaters.
An eclectic program consisting of blockbusters and animated films, as well as great classics, in which the audience should find themselves. “We wanted to offer you a rich and diverse range of films to satisfy all tastes.Patrice Martin continues. We constantly listen to our viewers, be it in theaters as well as on social media, and have added movies to the program to meet their demands.“
To celebrate this first edition, CGR cinemas are organizing several themed screenings: a marathon of the cult trilogy Back to the Future, a spooky evening around the Conjuring saga and a preview of one of the most anticipated. Year, Argylle, by the director of Kick-Ass and Kingsman.
ICE device, an experience not to be missed!
Of course, there is no question of (again) seeing these pieces under any conditions! For this occasion, CGR Cinemas pulls out all the stops and allows you to attend screenings in ICE theaters, where comfort is matched only by the excellence of image and sound, for a single and reasonable price of €8.
Patrice Martin tells us more:The premium ICE (Immersive Cinema Experience) room offers viewers the “necessities” of a cinema experience: optimal comfort with reclining club chairs, sound immersion with Dolby Atmos equipment (and its 56 audio sources) and visual immersion thanks to ICE IMMERSIVE® technology. which allows viewers to literally immerse themselves in the film thanks to its ultra-innovative side panels that display dynamic shapes, colors and lights throughout the session.“
