Much awaited by fans, Dune: part 2 won a special video with behind the scenes production. The recording (watch below) is presented by actor Timothée Chalamet, one of the protagonists of the story. The second part of the film will be released in theaters in 2024, according to information from Omelette.
In the latest trailer released, Atreides continues his saga in search of revenge, alongside Chani and the Fremen, against the conspirators who destroyed his family, the oppressive and dangerous Harkonnen. Among the enemies they will face are the villains, Emperor Shaddam (Christopher Walken) and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen (Austin Butler).
The story is set on the desert planet Arraki, producer of a precious resource and disputed by several noble families, and is the continuation of the events of the first film, which premiered in 2021 and reached a box office of 402 million dollars worldwide, around R$1.9 billion. The production was a real success and even took home six Oscars.
Dune: part 2 is the second of Denis Villeneuve’s three films based on the iconic science fiction novel Duneby Frank Herbert.
