Oppenheimer wins more prestigious awards, makes a good impression at the Oscars

Three years after the release of PrincipleChristopher Nolan presented his new feature film in 2023. Oppenheimer he was interested the man who was at the center of the “Manhattan Project”. We followed the famous physicist responsible for the development of the atomic bomb during World War II.

If his Principle had received a slightly more mixed reception a few years earlier (particularly due to its complex plot), which Nolan had had a hard time with Oppenheimer. Eight new awards for the film!

After the Golden Globes, the Critics Choice Awards ceremony took place on the night between Sunday 14th and Monday 15th January. And once again, Oppenheimer was the big winner this evening. She received nothing less than eight awards, including best film. Christopher Nolan also received an award for best director again.

As for the actors, Robert Downey Jr was named best supporting actor. Oppenheimer was also collectively acclaimed as the feature film received the award for Best Distribution. The other awards won by the film were those for best cinematography, best editing, best visual effects and finally best music.

And now the Oscars?

The new triumph ofOppenheimer at the Critics Choice Awards is a good sign for him ahead of the Oscars. Because, in general, the award ceremonies that precede the most prestigious of all in the United States give the indication of the great favorite of this one.
