Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Wednesday, January 17, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Aki shoots Gilham

After he ended their engagement, Gilham continued to harass Estelle. In fact, the lawyer kept calling him all night and telling him that she was the woman of his life and he couldn’t live without her. Desperate, Estelle finally hangs up the phone to make peace. Gilham, on the other hand, goes to the office completely devastated, which is not avoided by Johanna, who tries to understand what is going on. The lawyer then tells him that Estelle no longer wants to marry him. Johanna tries to calm her down, saying that Estelle just needs time and she should let her breathe. However, Gilham is not sure that he will recover if she leaves him and cries in his niece’s arms.

Gilham then starts working, but unfortunately cannot concentrate. He then calls Estelle, who answers it. Although she asks him to stop calling, Gilham doesn’t listen and invites her to dinner that evening. Stunned, Guillem makes love to her. Estelle, who is at the end of her rope, then interrupts their story. Estelle and Akim later meet at the beach. The young woman then explains that she accepted Gilham’s marriage proposal for the wrong reasons. Scared, Estelle calls Akim and asks him to come as soon as possible. After hanging up, he grabs a gun hidden in a dresser. Gilham, mad with rage, manages to break down the door. Although Estelle begs him to leave her alone, he is out of control and wrests the gun from her hand before dragging her across the floor in the living room, telling her she will pay.

Just then Akim arrives. When he asks Gillham to back up slowly and drop the gun to discuss, he refuses. “Stop playing dumb and drop the gun,” the cop tells him as he’s yoked. Angered, Gilham retorts that he does what he wants, then raises his gun and shoots Akeem. The latter retaliates and shoots in turn. In the next moment, Gilham collapses on the ground…
