One of the worst serial killers in cinema returns for a sequel!

13 years after Esther, Jaume Collet-Serrat’s horror film, a prequel to the feature film called Esther 2: The Origins, hits our theaters.

What makes it special? Isabelle Fuhrman – 12 years old during the filming of Esther – takes on the role of a demonic little girl. Therefore, the film team competed with ingenuity to make the 24-year-old actor look younger than in the original film.

Directed by William Brent Bell, the film revealed the life of Esther, a little girl who looked like a 9-year-old but was actually a 33-year-old woman suffering from a rare hormonal disorder that stunted her growth. His meeting with Kate (Vera Farmiga).

In the prequel, Esther escapes from a mental institution and travels to America, posing as the missing daughter of a wealthy family. But with her mother (played by Julia Stiles) willing to do anything to protect her family, her plan takes an unexpected turn.
