Microsoft’s presentation revealed the new Indiana Jones game, produced by the same company as Wolfenstein: The New Order
A Microsoft had announced a few years ago the development of a new game based on Indiana Jones, which would be produced by MachineGames, the same developer of the franchise Wolfenstein. Now, the game has been revealed to the world, getting the first trailer showing that it will be first-person, which seems to have divided opinions among fans across the internet.

During the first Developer Direct of 2024, Microsoft showed off some of the titles expected to be released for Xbox and PC, with the Indiana Jones adaptation being a big highlight. Indiana Jones and the Great Circlethe name given to the game seemed to suit everyone’s taste right from the first scenes game were shown and the revelation came that it would be in first person.
Many believed that, being a title based on an adventure film series, the game could resemble other games of the same style, such as tomb Raider OR Unexplored. MachineGames, responsible for great titles like Wolfenstein: The New Order, chose to continue with what he already mastered, offering an FPS with hits, punches and whips. It makes sense, even if it seems a little strange for this intellectual property.
It was revealed in the presentation that the game will not be entirely first-person, as at some points the camera will have to move away and show the realistic model based on Harrison Ford and placing the action in the third person. It’s not difficult to find people on the internet who rejoice at this choice, just as there are several people angry at the fact that the new Indiana Jones is a portable Harrison Ford simulator.

The match will take place in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark AND Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, will we then see a digital version of Sean Connery as the professor’s father? The timeline allows for it and it would be really cool.
