Cristo Protector de Encantado, in Vale do Taquari, exceeds the threshold of 250 thousand visitors

More than 250,000 people from 58 countries visited the Christ the Protector of Encantado, in Vale do Taquari. The data began to be calculated in May 2021, when visits to the statue officially began.

Among the foreign audiences, Uruguayans, Argentinians, Paraguayans, Colombians, North Americans, Canadians, Germans, Italians and Poles stand out.

With a total height of 43.50 meters including the pedestal, Christ the Protector is the largest religious monument in the country, the statue weighs 1,712 kilos.
