Michael, Michael Jackson’s biopic, gets first image

Jaafar Jacksonnephew of Michael Jackson , who was cast to play him in the King of Pop’s biopic, released the first image of the film, scheduled to hit theaters in 2025. In the image, the actor reproduces one of his uncle’s most famous moves and reveals that filming the film start next Monday, January 22nd. Check out:

According to the film’s official synopsis, “Michael will present audiences with an honest and fascinating portrait of the brilliant but complicated man who became the King of Pop.”. “The film presents his triumphs and tragedies on an epic, cinematic scale – from his human side and personal struggles to his undeniable creative genius, exemplified by his most iconic performances.”the text still says.

Antoine Fuquain Seven Men and a Destiny (2016) and Emancipation – A Story of Freedom (2022), was chosen to direct the biopic based on the script by John Logannominated for an Oscar for his screenplays Gladiator (2000), The Aviator (2004) and Hugo Cabret’s invention (2011).

In addition to Jaafar Jackson, Michael, which should hit theaters on April 18, 2025, still features the young actor Juliano Valdifrom the series The Hug Machine (2022- ) and Bite Size Halloween (2020- ), playing Michael Jackson during childhood. New names in the cast are yet to be announced.
