For eager fans, we are getting ever closer to contemplating the second season of The House of the Dragon (House of the Dragon), which ended its first year marking the start of the Targaryen civil war. According to George RR Martin, author of the work, filming has finally been completed, with the team already working on post-production.
It is also worth mentioning that the new season of The House of the Dragon will have fewer episodes, as announced by HBO. However, according to director Clare Kilner, the new chapter will be even more frenetic, surprising and exciting. “There will be eight wonderful episodes, in each of which many things will happen.”
The House of the Dragon is a prequel to game of Thrones which follows the history of the house and the Targaryen dynasty decades before the rise of Daenerys (Emilia Clarke). The first season follows the reign of Viserys Targaryen and the conflicts over the succession to power.
The first season of The House of the Dragonwhich has 10 episodes, remains available on HBO Max.
