A More Beautiful Life: Javad Sows Suspicion, Leah Desperate, Steve Helpless This is the week of January 15, 2024 review [SPOILERS]

Week of January 15, a more beautiful life, even more beautiful

Leah is losing her temper

No break for Leah. After a tense week at Mistral’s medical office, Leah had to deal with her companion’s bad faith. On Monday, she had to cut her lunch break short to pick up Lucy’s swimming pool bag, which Jean-Paul had left at home. That evening, when he got home from work, he found that he had allowed the Auror to draw very important documents on the plans for the Mediatheque.

Faced with Jean-Paul’s increasingly casual attitude, Leah decided to take matters into her own hands. Following the advice of her mother, Babette, she tried to broach the subject with her husband. Unfortunately, the latter turned out to be a bit stubborn.

Finally, Jean-Paul makes some effort to prepare dinner, but still forgets to wash the dishes, which upsets Lea, Babette, and Patrick. On Friday, Leah was pleasantly surprised by her husband’s behavior. Indeed, she noticed that he had tidied the house and ironed his shirts. In the end, the joy was short-lived, because it was Patrick who was ironing the clothes…

Steve faces student instability

At the Masalia residence, Steve found himself in an alarming situation. And for good reason, she didn’t get her student grant this month and has no money to buy food. While going out to Mistral with Jules and Nisma, the student failed to order a drink. He stuffed himself with peanuts to fill his stomach and almost choked.

Steve spent a week calling his university’s administrative department, but no one could solve his financial problem. Myrta, who overheard him, was disturbed by his plight and decided to secretly help.

She brought him a stew and made him believe he needed a guinea pig to taste it before offering it to his daughter. Finally, Mirta gave him the dish, claiming that it was a bit spicy. A great show of solidarity!

Javad claims his innocence

This week, the police investigation into the attempted poisoning of Francesco took many twists and turns. After suspecting Benjamin, the police discovered that Mistral was a familiar face: Javad, Estelle’s former companion.

Javad, who now works in a pet store, seemed very close to Estelle, which did not escape the police. Eventually, Javad was arrested for the attempted murder of Francesco after a packet of atropine was found under his mattress. Despite this evidence, Javad continued to maintain his innocence.

At the same time, Estelle was also arrested for complicity in the crime. The police have no doubt that Javad and Estelle must have been operating together. Thanks to his half-sister Aya, Javad was able to secure one of the city’s best lawyers: Maitre Ulis Kepler.

Before Estelle confessed that she had poisoned her husband, without anyone’s help, Javad was released. As he left the police station, Javad was attacked by Francesco. Finally, in the Friday, January 19, 2024 episode, Francesco revealed to his half-sister, Silvia, that he planned it all. She poisoned herself to frame Javad.
