BBB | Nizam cries a lot and loses forgiveness in chat

Nizam Abou Jokh cried profusely, grieved and asked for forgiveness when faced with the controversial images of his participation in “BBB 24”. In a conversation with Thais Fersoza and Ed Gama on the program “Bate-Papo BBB”, he saw the VAR of several situations in which he lied, manipulated, made sexist comments and behaved in a problematic way. And he accepted all the criticism, without holding back.

In his defence, he simply said that he had not realized the gravity of his statements, admitting that his participation was marked by sexist attitudes: “Total”.

Male chauvinism

“I tried to measure my words when I was about to talk about Yasmin. It was very unfortunate,” he said of the comments about the model’s body. “This is not acceptable anywhere. What I said in that environment, the conversation goes unnoticed, no one said it was wrong. And you don’t even notice, then you see it and it’s embarrassing on national television.”

The Sao Paulo native also witnessed the moment when Rodriguinho criticized his speeches on Yasmin’s body, agreeing with the singer, but reflected: “He could have talked to me, to teach me. We need a deconstruction also from of the people around us. I can see how ashamed my mother and sister must be of me,” Nizam said. But then the brother’s sister appeared to say that everyone knew her first reaction would be to come out and apologize, as she actually did—which made him cry even more.

Handling

Nizam also commented on the reputation he has earned on the program as a “manipulative player”, but tried to defend himself. “I think not remembering exactly what I said felt like manipulation, it wasn’t intentional,” he said. “My strategy was to try to be myself,” he added. The ex-brother justified himself by saying that he was just trying to “be well seen at home” and escape from Paredão. “It’s a very difficult game to play,” he said.

With a very heavy atmosphere, the interview marked by Nizam’s desperate crying also had unstructured moments, in which he laughed at the meme created with Davi about the “profession”.

I apologize from the bottom of my heart

Finally he asked to speak and apologized to Thais Fersoza, the women’s representative in the conversation. “What you showed me is very painful, but for me it is very important. With this I want to undertake an even greater deconstruction”, he began. “Nothing is justifiable. And I will accept the consequences of the things I said. Like everything in my life, the responsibility is mine and no one else’s. I apologize from the bottom of my heart.”

Thais reacted to Nizam’s apology. “I think recognizing the mistake is the first step. People at home follow you here and see that you actually took responsibility for everything you did inside. Now you’re here outside the house, it’s a new beginning,” one recovery, it’s about evolving. May it be a lesson for all those who watched you, for all the men who unfortunately still have this type of attitude, so much so that they no longer have it”, commented the presenter.
