A short season and then he left. The next season of Doctor Who will see a casting change, but it won’t involve Nkuti Gatwa – the Doctor’s new translator. Several American media (including Deadline) announced that Millie Gibson will be replaced by Varada Sethu (Andor series) starting in season 15.
The BBC and the producer of the program did not want to respond to the information, and the reasons for this sudden departure have not yet been named. The young British actor made his Doctor Who debut during the traditional Christmas episode on December 25.
Her character Ruby Sunday’s debut was seen as promising by fans of the series and many viewers highlighted her chemistry with Ncuti Gatwa.
The latter also did not comment on this information, but shared a story in which he is next to Millie Gibson with the emotion of the heart and the astrological sign of Gemini.

A new beginning for the series
Doctor Who is a science fiction TV series featuring an alien named The Doctor who travels through time and space using his TARDIS. His regeneration powers also allow him to change his appearance (and therefore his interpreter) to escape death!
Season 14 of Doctor Who marks a new beginning for the series. During the third 60th anniversary special episode (aired last December), the Doctor was “organised” for the first time: thus two Time Lords were born, one played by David Tennant and the other by Nkuti Gatwa.
Doctor Who is now streaming in France exclusively on Disney+. Season 14, which is expected later this year, does not yet have an air date.
