Tonight, W9 airs the final two episodes of Season 3 of Sissi, the German-Austrian series that revisits the story of Austrian Empress Elisabeth Wittelsbach.
As the season progressed, the Imperial couple were tested once again. It must be said that the sudden fall of Napoleon III and the proclamation of the Republic in France caused Franz Joseph (Yannick Schumann) to fear the worst.

Although many viewers are hoping that Sissy will be renewed, no information has been released on the subject yet. At this point, the German channel RTL has not yet confirmed or denied the production of the 4th season.

Dominique Davenport is heading into Season 4
Dominique Davenport, Sissy’s translator, seems set to reprise the role that made her famous for Season 4 anyway.
