Unemployment is a problem that affects many countries, but it can also contribute to a serious deterioration in the mental health of citizens. Choi Joon-woong (Ro Woon) is young and hard-working, but he has been unemployed for years and is unable to re-enter the job market. Anguished and sad, he decides to make a definitive decision: to commit suicide.
To reach his goal, he heads to a bridge to jump, but there he finds another suicide bomber. He is not convinced that the other man should kill himself and tries to stop him, which involves them in a fight and causes them both to fall from the bridge. After the accident, his body is in a deep coma for years and his spirit has complete freedom to roam the corners, until Joon-woong encounters a group of people who he later discovers are reapers.
Contrary to popular belief, these reapers do not work by harvesting human souls, but rather by preventing people from committing suicide. As a result, Joon-woong becomes involved in this new narrative and ends up joining the team of angels who must prevent suicide.
The K-drama has 16 episodes, each lasting an average of an hour, and is available on the Netflix streaming platform. The cast also includes names like Kim Hee-sun, Lee Soo-hyuk, Cha Hak-yeon, Yoon Ji-on, Kang Seung-yoon, Kim Hae-sook and more.
