‘Very special and strange workout’: Riviere-Purdue stars recount awkward filming of intimate scenes

This Thursday, January 25, 2024, TF1 offers its viewers the opportunity to discover the last two episodes of its new and spectacular series Rivière-Perdue, starting at 9:10 p.m. In these final installments, the mystery ends for Alix and Victor, our two protagonists, played by Barbara Cabrita and Nicolas Gob, respectively.

During the fiction, our acting duo share intimate scenes. With our sisters and brothers tele-vacationThe main stakeholders are back to filming these often awkward moments of mock love.

Nicholas Gob explains: “Of course, this is always a special and strange exercise. I’m always calm, gentle, distant, I’m very attentive to others, I ask fifteen billion times if they’re okay (laughs). It’s a slightly suspended moment where we disconnect and then reconnect. It is set up like a stunt stage.“

“We didn’t really know how to handle things”

A sentiment shared by his partner Barbara Cabrita (who rode motocross at Riviere-Perdue!), who adds: “We discussed it, but not to the level that we could control it. We were very shy about it. These scenes are always difficult to shoot. And then we’re both very modest, so we didn’t really know how to approach things.“

“It was the director who told us: let go, go! (laughs)Reminiscent of what we just saw at Grilled Chickens. The hard part in these scenes is that you have to balance the intensity. The director turned to us, we said to ourselves: “We have to go!”. We shot these sections with great care and actually did not prepare at all.”

“It was quite cute because we were at a certain distance before these scenes, while we were always together on set and between takes. There was a kind of modesty, quite funny. And in the end, it was very soft.”Barbara Cabrita concludes.
