The story revolves around George (Fraser), a man raised in the African jungle by animals since he was a child and who becomes the king of the forest. However, he falls in love with an heiress (Leslie Mann) after saving her from an attack by a lion. When she brings him to civilization, George must return to the forest, as her spoiled boyfriend (Thomas Haden Church) captures her friend Ape, a talking gorilla who raised him.

Another film starring Brendan Fraser, “Polícia Desmontada” is based on the animated series “Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties”, known in Brazil as “Dudley, o Certinho” or “Janota Age Certo”. The cast also includes Sarah Jessica Parker, Alfred Molina and Eric Idle.

The film is a slapstick comedy and follows Dudley Do-Right (Fraser), a dedicated but clumsy Canadian soldier. In the plot, the villain Snidely Whiplash (Molina) plans to start a fake gold rush in the city and Dudley Do-Right must stop him.

This film based on the cartoon “Mr. Magoo” was a box office failure. Leslie Nielsen plays Mr. Magoo, a rich, short-sighted older man who finds himself in a series of confusing and amusing situations due to his lack of eyesight.
