Now you can see in ViX, Radicalhis critically acclaimed original film and blockbuster starring Eugenio Derbezwill premiere at level premium of the service January 26. Radical was the highest-grossing Mexican film in its country since the pandemic and the highest-grossing Spanish-language film as of March 2019 in the United States.
Based on a true story, Radical tells how Sergio Juárez Correa (Derbez), a disillusioned teacher in a small Mexican border town plagued by neglect, corruption and violence, tries a radical new method to awaken curiosity and free the possibility their students.
The film Radical is a passion shared by director and screenwriter Christopher Zalla, producer Benjamin Odell and Eugenio Derbez, who had already worked together on the film Our Father, recognized with awards at festivals and nominations at the Independent Spirit Awards.
The original film ViX has won several awards at various film festivals, including the Top Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival:

In December 2023, Derbez was awarded by Marc Anthony through his foundation Maestro Cares with the Voice of Change Award.
