Coach Nicolás Larcamón has confirmed the inclusion of striker Fernando and midfielder Vitinho, two strongmen of the Under 20s, in Cruzeiro’s main squad. The statement came after Cruzeiro’s draw against Athletic last Saturday in the second round of the Campeonato Mineiro.
– There are many good players, who I think can have a place. But we need to see the structure of the squad, now only Fernando and Vitinho will be part of the first team – confirms the coach.
Fernando and Vitinho were in the heavenly runner-up at Copinha. Thanks to their good performance, the two will be available to the coach from next week, at Toca da Raposa II.
– I am looking forward to working with them, because I think that after the great Cup they have played, they can be important elements to have opportunities in the State, and therefore have the competence to participate in the most important competitions of the season – He added.
