Plus belle la vie: Why did Jade Pradin (Morgan) quit one of TF1’s flagship series?

In the first episodes of Plus belle la vie, even in Plus belle, the audience could meet Morgan Tanguy, the niece of Yolande’s late husband, Jocelyn, who came from Brittany as a brigadier in the police station.

This new character, which should bring a lot of surprises, is played by actress Jade Pradin, who already has a busy career.

Clem’s little sister

In fact, it was in the series Clem that Jade Pradin became known to the TF1 community. From 2009 to 2015, she portrayed Salome, the little sister of the main character played by Lucy Lucas.

But while the fiction is enjoying great success, the young woman leaves her place, starting in season 6, to another actress. Lea Lopez was replaced by Jade Pradin, at the time, on social networks, explained the reasons for this sudden departure.

While reading the scripts for the new season, she realized that she was no longer in phase with the character of Salome, who fell in love with one of the teachers.

“I found the proposed scenario a little too “hot” for a high school student like Salome, but I know that scenes are out of the question after that.“, he explained in a Facebook post to justify his right to leave Clem.

New recruit in Plus belle la vie police station

Since 2015, Jade Pradin has been playing small roles, notably appearing in the films Our Dear Neighbors and Commissioner Magellan. Morgan’s role in Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle therefore allows the actress to return to the fore.

He plays one of the new characters who joins the Masalia residency for students and young professionals. And in just a few days, the young woman seems to have already fallen under the spell of Jules (Valentin Duclos), another resident who doesn’t keep his tongue in his pocket.
