Venezuela beats Colombia and stays alive in the Pre-Olympics

To qualify for the next stage, Venezuela will have to beat Brazil in the next round match on Thursday (1).

Venezuela achieved a decisive 1-0 victory over Colombia, in Caracas, on Monday evening (29). With this he continues to keep his hopes alive in the Pre-Olympics. Bolivar scored the only goal of the match, in the first half.

“Vinotinto” therefore has five points and occupies third place in group A. To qualify for the next phase, however, they will have to beat Brazil (1) next Thursday. They thus reach second place and overtake Ecuador, who have seven points, but are no longer playing at this stage.

Colombia, however, is out of the competition. The pre-Olympic qualifies two teams for the Paris Olympics in July and August this year. Brazil, the current two-time champion, is seeking its unprecedented third title.
