A promotional video for the French television festival Series Mania has stirred up feelings among fans Succession. In the material, published this Monday (29th), Brian Cox appears to reprise his character Logan Roy.
In the teaser, Laurence Herszberg, head of festival programming, appears dressed as the protagonist of Emily in Paris. This alternative “Emily” arrives at her advertising agency’s office and discusses with her bosses, including the ruthless Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), the best ways to promote the festival.
The meeting is interrupted by a call from Logan, to Sylvie’s surprise: “I thought you were dead!” Cox then responds: “I’ve never felt better.”
The sketch ends with Logan announcing that he has bought the French festival, in his megalomaniac way: “The Mania series is mine!”
Featuring exclusive screenings of series and panels from various countries, Series Mania will take place from March 15 to 22 in Lille, France. The information comes from Omelette.
Lille, new Paris? Good luck!
Sylvie Grateau and Savoir are installed in the North to conquer Series Mania. Problem? A formidable competitor.
