What happened to Abdel during the break remains to be seen. In the first episode of Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle, Barbara mentions her name in a very moving moment that lets the audience know that a tragedy has occurred. But as of now, the writers have yet to come up with an explanation for her disappearance. So you will have to be patient.
