Only one Marvel Cinematic Universe movie will hit theaters in 2024, compared to three last year. But he could hit hard. At least that’s what Matthew Vaughn says. The director of Kick-Ass and X-Men – The Beginning, the Brit has since swapped superheroes for the spies of Kingsman, followed by Argyle, his latest, in cinemas from 31 January.
But that doesn’t stop him from keeping an eye on what’s going on at Marvel. and Deadpool 3, the MCU’s only theatrical release in 2024. Sean Levy’s feature film, which is expected to hit our theaters on July 24th, has just finished filming, but Matthew Vaughn is already talking about it.
“What I Know” Deadpool vs.– he says in the podcast Post credit From BroBible.
“It’s going to be a shock… they’re going to shake up the Marvel Universe and bring his body back to life. I think Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will save the Marvel Cinematic Universe.” Words that are bound to be intriguing, so much so that Matthew Vaughn is not involved in any way in this film, which should include several cameos, multiverse commitments, and where the Australian actor will reprise the role of Wolverine, which he said goodbye to.
They are going to shake up the Marvel Universe and bring his body back to life.
Is it because Argylle and Deadpool 3 share rumors of Taylor Swift’s involvement? It is possible. But Matthew Vaughn isn’t saying that, instead emphasizing his love of Marvel’s mutants, which he hopes will capitalize on the potential success of the feature film: “I’m a huge X-Men fan, I just want these movies to be as good as they should be.”
I hope those words bring more luck to Deadpool 3 than Flash, who Tom Cruise still professed his love for a year ago.
