This vision, which has greatly praised Kenobi and many fans of the Star Wars universe, is, however, strictly speaking, not a new scene. Fans of the Rebels animated series really remember the identical sequence, except that it featured not Obi-Wan but Ahsoka Tano, the former Padavan of Anakin Skywalker!
In the last double episode of the second season of the animated series, the Phantom crew traveled to Planet Malacca. Then Jedi apprentice Eza Bridger met a former follower of the force, Molly. After many adventures, the characters of the show fall into the trap set by Darth Vader. Ahsoka Tano, also from Malakhor, decided to meet the Dark Lord alone to give Phantom the time he needed to fly and leave the planet.
So Ahsoka got involved in a fight with the traffic light, and like the Obi-Wan series, the latter smashed Vader’s helmet with the swing of a sword; What was his surprise when he discovered that behind the mask of the City Lord was hiding his former master Anakin Skywalker, about whom he never knew to go to the dark side!
