WARNING, THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPHS CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR IT’S ALL BEGINNING THIS THURSDAY EVENING ON TF1! If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read the following!
Everything starts here on Thursday February 1st…
Berenice does not end her problems
After spending the entire evening worrying about her argument with Carla the day before, Berenia goes to the workshop very early to get ahead of her preparations. Constance comes to see her to make sure everything is okay since she hasn’t seen him much. Berenia admits to him that she regrets that her argument with Carla has come to this. But he prefers to concentrate on his desserts, which he has to present to the institute’s chefs today.
Meanwhile, Carla confides in Rose, who has come to check on her about Berenice. Carla tells her about their argument and admits that she’s offended that Berenia doesn’t trust her enough to tell her she’s a lesbian. Rose sympathizes with Berenice, noting that her position is not so simple. When Rose learns that Carla learned it from none other than Beren herself, she insists on the matter. Then Carla blames herself terribly.
After receiving a message from Livio, Carla joins him in the swamps. While the young man tries to start a conversation to get to know her, Carla cuts him short. He specifies that he only came to sleep with her and nothing else. Livio hoped that their relationship would become more serious. But Carla claims that this desire is not mutual. When Livio wants to take her home and have a good relationship, Carla lashes out at him and lists everything she doesn’t like about him.
At the seminar, Berenia accuses Ethan of revealing to Carla that he is a lesbian because she was the only one he confided in. But the young man promises that he has nothing to do with it. Berenia then turns her attention back to her preparations and gives instructions to her brigade. In particular, he decides to add more ganache to the Rubik’s cake to make it lighter and balance it with the pastry cream. At his hearing, Cardone claims it was a mistake. But Berenia defends her idea and gets the support of her brigade.
Later, Berenice presents her desserts to the institute’s chefs – Landiras, Rochemont, Armand – as well as Rose. They taste the Quin-Aman first and all give good feedback. As for the Rubik’s cake, which is a little more difficult, Berenia invites them to discuss it in detail using recipe cards that have been specially printed. But the teachers actually came across erotic fiction written by Berenice and signed with her name. A paralyzed young girl leaves the workshop, while Cardon wears a sly smile.
While crossing the park, Berenice realizes that her erotic fiction has been leaked to the institute. During a panic attack, he meets his sister, who immediately understands the situation. Constance grabs the copies the students are holding. As for Carla, she suggests that Berenice leave school. But the latter rejects his friend’s outstretched hand and declares that he wants to go home. Constance accompanies him, and then promises to return to the Institute to destroy all copies in circulation.
Later, Carla overhears Tom and Bill talking in the cafeteria. After keeping a copy of Berenice’s fiction, the young man reads a passage to his lover: it talks about the main character’s desire for the director, on the corner of whose lips he dreams of kissing. Tom then suggests that Berenica loves Rose Latour…
Bill is doing an internship
At Double A, Stanislas prepares students for candles. He demonstrates them for each crepe, especially the crepe flambé, so he can reproduce it in front of customers. He specifies that Mathilde Carmel will be attending the luncheon service and that he is trying to attract an intern to the Lion d’Argent, a palace in Geneva. Stanislas ends by saying that he will not be there during the service. So he counts on Billy, now head waiter, to keep the room together.
During the service, Maya is responsible for the action in front of Matilda Carmel. But he can’t put the pancake on fire. Seeing her comrade in distress, Vicki immediately warns Billy. The latter comes at the head of Maya and excels in ignition.
At the end of the service, Matilda Carmel approaches Billy to offer him an internship at the Silver Lion. Indeed, he noticed that he had something extra. Bill immediately accepts his proposal. As Carmel leaves, Billy breaks the good news to Vic, who is happy for her.
Later, Matilda Carmel reveals to Stanislas that she focused on Billy. He then makes racist remarks and goes so far as to ask Stanislas if the school has implemented a “diversity program.” Afterwards, he congratulates her on putting someone like Billy in this position and praises the “beautiful message” she sent. Uncomfortable, Stanislas ends the conversation. A short distance away, Vic heard everything.
Laetitia is worried about Stanislaus
A sleeping Laetitia dreams that Maya wakes up from her coma thanks to her voice and reading celebrity magazines. Finally, Kelly wakes up her mother. Laetitia takes the opportunity to confess to her that she had returned to Maya’s bedside the previous day and that Stanislaus had even given her permission to go there again. They are going to leave together a little later today. Kelly thinks her mother is very generous, but worries that she’ll get too involved with someone she doesn’t know and end up disappointed. Laetitia promises that she won’t hold out much hope that Maya will wake up.
Later, Laetitia joins Stanislas at the hospital with Maya. He shows her the magazines he’s been reading lately, specifically the Beyoncé cover that made him react. When they mention it again, Maya blinks. Deeply moved, Laetitia takes Stanislas by the hand. Disturbed by this contact, Laetitia withdraws, then pretends to forget to do something before hastily leaving.
At the institute, Laetitia is met by Zachary and Kelly, who are surprised that she is not in the hospital. Uncomfortable, Laetitia insists that Stanislaus no longer wants her to come because it is useless. Zachary thinks it’s no worse.
