Male Vs. Bees: This Netflix series will surprise you!

Rowan Atkinson chose Netflix for his big comeback in television comedy. The English comedian, who is world-renowned for the success of Mr. Bean’s series (but also no less excellent for Black Viper), returns to us this Friday, June 23, alone with the bees, after ten adventures in a bizarre comedy. Against a clumsy family man … bees!

A starting playground that takes up half a subway ticket but still offers the ideal playground for Rowan Atkinson, a follower of “physical” humor. A big fan of Jacques Tati, the 67-year-old actor has always preferred to make the audience laugh with his weird gestures and funny facial expressions rather than dialogue. Essentially dumb and therefore universal, his humor allowed him to gain international popularity thanks to Mr. Bean Adventures!

The idea for this new series came to Rowan Atkinson in memory of the cult series: In Episode Take care of the baby, Mr. Bean, The latter was about to swallow a delicious picnic when the bees began to spoil the lunch. In an interview with our colleagues RadioTimesThe comedian revealed that the memory of this episode was indeed a Netflix TV series, which, accordingly, can be considered as an “extrapolation” of Mr. Bean.

In addition to Trevor, the character played by Rowan Atkinson in “Alone with the Bees” is a lovely and friendly family, albeit extremely awkward, as opposed to Mr. Bean, for he is selfish and evil in spirit (though also lovely. His extreme, childish).

While tied to his favorite form of humor, Atkinson argues with this new series that he can embody more than one character, as already demonstrated by Johnny English, the James Bond parody trilogy, and even more recently his Commissar Megret interpretation.
