AOC launches the new QHD monitor with 240 Hz and Fast IPS panel

AOC has launched a new gaming monitor focused on competitive use. The AOC Q27G3Z/D is 27 inches, has a Quad HD resolution and runs at a 240 Hz refresh rate

After the release of more monitors in late 2023THE AOC has revealed a new gaming monitor available exclusively in China. The AOC Q27G3Z/D features a 27-inch screen and Quad HD resolution, as well as a design very similar to what we are used to seeing in the brand’s products sold in Brazil.

With a 27-inch screen, the model uses a Fast IPS panel. This means that this type of screen maintains the original IPS characteristics, such as more vivid colors and better contrast, and adds a faster response time. In the specific case of this product, AOC has incorporated 0.5 ms MPRT and 1 ms GtG.

Furthermore, the device runs on a 260Hz refresh rate. The number is very different from the traditional 240Hz standard, but it could be an interesting choice for gamers looking to venture into the competitive scene. By the way, the AOC Q27G3Z/D still follows the technology From NVIDIA G-SYNC to minimize the tearing effect.

The new AOC maintains the consolidated look

The appearance of the device is very similar to other monitors sold by AOC in Brazil, such as the AOC Hero 24G2 and the recent AOC Hero Quad, also at 1440p. Returning to the Q27G3Z/D, the model maintains the red and black visual language with a V-shaped base, but differs in height and rotation support, which has a round hole in the central part.

As for connectivity, the new AOC monitor has two DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, responsible for displaying the image in full QHD and 240Hz, and one HDMI 2.0 port, which can only transmit 1440p with a refresh rate of 144Hz.

The AOC Q27G3Z/D is only available in China for CNY 2,799 (around R$1,900 in direct conversion). AOC is expected to launch the model on the global market in the future, but there is no confirmation of this happening yet.
