Since I got to Netflix‘pray and obeyr ’causes bewilderment in the spectators. The miniseries tells the story of the Mormon polygamous sect of Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saintsknown as the FLDS, and its leader and self-styled prophet Warren Jeffs.

Sexual violence, money, and brainwashing were part of the routine of many of the women born and raised in the sect. The production, however, is not alone in portraying the effects of cults on society. oh ‘After credits‘this week brings a selection of documentaries and films that have brought cult stories to the screen.
