Santos debuts in the tournament this Sunday (04) against Shanghai Shenua

The Santos team will tour the Middle East and Asia. The first commitment will be to play the Equality Cup tournament in Qatar.

The debut match will be this Sunday (04), against Shanghai Shenhua, from China, at 11am (Brasilia time) at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium.

The tour is an opportunity for some athletes to show their place in the main team.

Cases of athletes Derick and Kevin Malthus seeking opportunities in the pros.

Defender Derick was Paulista champion under 20 and wants to show a good performance for coach Fábio Carille.

“I see it as a great opportunity for everyone who participates. Above all, for me it will be very important to be able to play, gain minutes and more professional experience. I hope to play good games and help the team get victories” – he said.

Kevin Malthus, on the other hand, has broken through the limits of the youth categories. The young man has turned 21 and wants to find space in the first team sector.

“They are complicated teams, which will require attention during the match. My goal is to do what I love and help the team that opened doors for me. I really want to continue my story here at Santos and I will fight for my space. I see that I am fully capable of playing a good role here” – I speak.
