Paula Bergamin bets on a sustainable look for this year’s holidays

The costume worn by Paula Bergamin at the technical rehearsals of the Unidos de Vila Isabel, in Rio de Janeiro, on Saturday 3, is made with recyclable materials, such as straws and garbage bags.

The 62-year-old muse said 1,200 straws and 5 garbage bags were used for the costume. To the gshowshe said that the look was definitely the cheapest she has ever worn and that this look is just a spoiler of what she will wear in Sapucaí.

“It’s a small thing that everyone plays in the sea, on the beach, in the street, and which has a huge impact. This is to warn that everyone must do their part,” he said in an interview with TV Mais Carnaval.

Bergamin also stressed that he does not intend to retire from parades anytime soon and that the carnival is “another reason” for his existence.
