Preta Gil pays homage to Rita Lee, sings with her niece and moves fans in more than four hours of show

Bloco da Preta saw the participation of the singer’s friends, such as Rogério Flausino, Carolina Dieckmann, MC Carol, Xamã and others

Singer Preta Gil moved her fans at the Bloco da Preta, which took place this Sunday (4) at the Rio Arena, in Barra da Tijuca. Preta sang with several invited friends and also with her eight-year-old granddaughter, Flor de Maria. In the audience, fans wore T-shirts with the singer’s face printed on them.

Preta interacted with his fans during the show and some of them were invited to come on stage and join the party. The presentation, which lasted xx hours, paid tribute to Rita Lee, who died last year. Preta Gil sang “Lança Perfume” with actress Carolina Dieckmann.

Other artists who participated in the party were Rogério Flausino, with the songs “Dias Melhores” and “Do Seu Lado”, the singer Xamã, who performed “Malvadão” and funk hits from Rio. Singer Pabllo Vittar performed “KO”, “Amor de Que” and “Pede Pra Eu Ficar”. Gominho and MC Carol were also guests on the show and samba singer Karinah came straight from Mangueira’s technical rehearsals to the block.

In addition to appearances from big names in music, Preta had a very special guest: her eight-year-old granddaughter Sol de Maria, who sang the song “Estúpido Cupido” with her grandmother. Preta said that Sol is his successor in the bloc, since his son Francisco “does not want to lead a bloc at all”.

The singer, who never left the stage, also performed “Macetando” and spoke about recovery during the show, which lasted about four hours.

Preta Gil guaranteed that “next year the blockade will be on the avenue” and confirmed the blockade of streets in Rio de Janeiro for 2025.
