Sam Raimi, director of Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madnessrevealed that the character Baron Mordo almost died in the movie. The statement was made in the extra material released with the arrival of the feature on Disney +.
Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) first appeared in Strange Doctor, since 2016, and is back for the sequel that came out this year. However, the character is only seen as a variant of him, the Earth-838 version.
According to the director, the original version of Mordo, that of Earth-616, would be a trace Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) to find Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). However, when he found Scarlet Witch, he would be beheaded by her, who would still show her head to the Sorcerer Supreme.
