Universal Pictures announced on Tuesday (6) that the franchise Jurassic will continue, with a seventh film hitting theaters next year. According to information from Variety, David Koepp, screenwriter of the first films of the Jurassic Parkwill be responsible for writing the new feature film — David Leitch, director of Deadpool 2 and producer of the franchise John Wickis in talks to direct the sequel.

The franchise Jurassic is divided into two phases, the classic one Jurassic Parkan absolute hit of the 90s, and the Jurassic world, more modern and recent. In total, the franchise has six films: there is also a short film, Jurassic World: Battle of Big Rock, released in 2019 and directed by veteran Colin Trevorrow.
