Lee Hong-jo (Cho Bo-ah) is a civil servant who constantly struggles with boredom because, in her opinion, nothing new or interesting happens in her life. One day, she finds a 300-year-old book that contains powerful spells, although she doesn’t know it yet. Bored, she decides to cast a spell to attract the man who doesn’t love her back, but when she realizes that the spell is real, things get complicated.

Jang Shin-yu (Ro Woon) is a handsome, successful lawyer, but also very sick: he carries with him a curse, present in his family for generations, which makes him increasingly ill. The spell cast by Hong-jo sees him brought more prominently into the servant’s life, but the book he holds contains a possible cure that could reverse the symptoms of his illness and remove the curse from his family.

During a race against time to help Shin-yu, the two find themselves involved in different situations (personal and work-related) and end up getting closer, which helps a romance develop. The series has a total of 16 episodes with an average duration of one hour and can be found on Netflix. The cast also includes names like Ha Jun, Yura, Lee Tae-ri, Kim Kwon, Park Gyeong-hye and Lee Bong-ryun.
