As every year, the Series Mania Festival lives in Lille to bring a dream week for series lovers with screenings, masterclasses and previews of fiction from around the world.

From March 15 to 22, this new edition of the Séries Mania festival will feature more than 60 series from around the world with previews, special meetings with prestigious guests, a unique exhibition, workshops, evenings…

Among the main themes emerging from the 2024 edition of Series Mania, we find questions about the family unit and filial piety, artificial intelligence, desire and sexuality throughout history, and religious mysticism.

Festival-goers will have access to many activities, such as a large immersive exhibition “Behind the Scenery” about the hidden professions of the series or even fan club meetings with the teams Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle, L’art du. Crime and escort boys.

Among the series of main events, we find, in particular, a preview of The 3-Body Problem, the new epic SF series from Netflix by David Benioff and DB Weiss (Game of Thrones), Shadow, a French series adapted from a novel by the former Prime Minister. Edward Phillips or the sultry series Mary and George with Julianne Moore and Nicholas Galitzin (My Dear Prince, Underskirt).

Guests of honor include Zall Batmanglie, Laurent Lafitte and Kelly Rutherford.

Many people will be on the various official selection juries. The jury of the international competition will be chaired by Zal Batmanglii (OA, Murder at the End of the World) and will be composed of directors Charlotte Brandstrom (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), Sofiane Zerman aka Fianso, Berenies Bejot. and German actor Malik Bauer (Sam: Saxon).

The International Panorama Jury will be chaired by writer Douglas Kennedy and include actress Suzy Bemba (Opera), producer Dana Stern, South Korean producer Ho Jin Kwon and showrunner Clemens Madeleine-Perdrilat (Drops). of God).
