This Thursday (8), Paramount Pictures and Sega of America released the first trailer for Knuckles. The trailer reveals a bit of what viewers can expect from the spin-off Sonic the Hedgehog cinematic adventure.
In addition to the trailer, it was announced that the miniseries, which will have a total of six episodes and can be streamed on Paramount+, will premiere on April 26 in the United States and Canada and the following day in other countries, including Brazil. The exception is Japan, where it will arrive by the end of the year, on a date to be defined.

Sonic fans will also be able to see more of Knuckles during Super Bowl LVIII, next Sunday (11), in a commercial that will be broadcast during halftime of the game between Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
The Knuckles miniseries is set between the events of Sonic 2: The Movie and the highly anticipated Sonic 3: The Movie. Recently, it was confirmed that Jim Carrey will return to play mad scientist Dr. Robotnik in the upcoming film, which hits theaters on December 20.
In addition to the return of actor Idris Elba as Knuckles, the spin-off miniseries will star Adam Pally as Wade Whipple, who Knuckles decides to train so he can become as powerful as the Echidna warriors. Ben Schwartz and Colleen O’Shaughnessey will once again play Sonic and Tails, and actress Tika Sumpter will return as Maddie Wachowski.
