The 2-1 victory over Venezuela on Thursday (8), in the second round of the Pre-Olympic Tournament, left Brazil one step away from the place
COME BITCH! The Brazilian team is almost close to its long-awaited place at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, seeking its third gold medal (in a row – 2016, 2020 and… 2024?). The 2-1 victory over Venezuela on Thursday (8), in the second round of the Pre-Olympic Tournament, left Brazil one step away from the place.
Two teams qualify for the tournament. Brazil, with the victory, is in second place in the final quadrangular, with three points, one more than third-placed Argentina, and one less than the leaders, Paraguay, with four points won. The vacancies were to be finalized in the third and final round.
The Brazilian team needs a win or a draw to secure their passport to Paris, given that the match is against Argentina, and directly for a place. I can’t lose. Paraguay and Venezuela play the other match.

Brazil and Argentina will play the classic on Sunday (11th), at 8pm (Brasilia time). Venezuela and Paraguay compete on the same day and time, for the third and final round of the final quadrangular of the Pre-Olympic Tournament.
